I do not have health insurance, can I still get this membership?
If you do not have insurance that is ok. All of your primary care visits are covered under your membership. You can also use online discount drug programs for prescriptions. However, It is recommended to have health insurance for hospital visits, emergency room visits, labs, prescriptions, and referrals to specialists.

No you do not need health insurance for the membership. However, It is recommended to have health insurance for hospital visits, emergency room visits, labs, prescriptions, and referrals to specialists.
Do I need to transfer care from my current primary care physicians?
ReDefine life will become your primary care physician. However, since we do not accept health insurance you can still keep your current primary care physician if desired, but this can cause confusion if two doctors are treating the same problem. Be sure to update us with any new prescriptions and changes to the plan of care.
Does ReDefine Life prescribe narcotics or controlled substances?
Here at ReDefine Life we do not prescribe narcotics or controlled substances. Pain can usually be treated with alternative medications and other prescriptions. If controlled substances are needed, we will refer you to the proper specialist to prescribe these medications.
Does the membership require a contract?
There is no contract to joining our membership program. You can cancel anytime as long as a 30-day notice is given. However, there is a one-time nonrefundable enrollment fee: $150 for individual plan and $300 for the family plan.
Can you pay your membership upfront?
Yes, you can pay your membership up to one year ahead. In fact, discounts are often offered for memberships paid in advance.
How do I cancel my membership?
It is easy to cancel. Written notice must be given 30 days in advance using the verified email on file.

How long does my membership last?
Your membership stays active unless canceled by the member.
Am I responsible to pay for lab tests that my doctor may order?
Yes, lab tests are not included in your membership, therefore you are responsible for paying for these. If you have insurance these are often covered by insurance. If you do not have insurance these lab tests can be paid for in cash depending on the laboratory used.
If I have an emergency in the middle of the night, will my ReDefine Life practitioner be available for me?
If there is an emergency, it is always recommended to call 911 right away. However, if you have an urgent matter a ReDefine Life practitioner is on call 24/7 but please allow at least one hour for a response. Medication refills and minor matters will not be addressed after business hours. Calls after hours should only be reserved for urgent matters.
How do I pay for my prescription medications?
Prescriptions can be paid for directly to the pharmacy with cash or credit card. Prescription medications are not covered under your membership. Your membership covers only the cost for access to your ReDefine Life practitioner. If prescriptions are required it is recommended that insurance, FSA, or HSA be used to purchase these. If you do not have insurance some discount prescription cards may be provided but are not guaranteed.
How do I pay for any whole food supplements you may suggest?
Whole food supplements can be paid for by Credit, Debit or PayPal directly on ReDefine Life third party website. This can be a different credit card used to pay for your membership. Credit card information is not stored directly on the ReDefine life website.
